In my honest opinion this is the best phone for your budget range.
It has the best camera for phones under $600 and the best chipset.
Chipset: Snapdragon 8 (currently one of the fastest chipset right now)
Camera: 200mp (and can do good pictures even at night)
Storage: 512GB, 24GB RAM (huge)
Honestly, this is the best phone for your buck.

It features the same **Tensor G4** chip as the flagship models, which enables advanced AI processing. Its **Night Sight** mode can virtually "see in the dark," pulling detail out of shadows that other budget phones miss.
Someone who wants "point-and-shoot" simplicity where the phone does all the work to make a dark room look bright.

The large-aperture lens and 1/1.4-inch sensor can absorb more light, and the AI night scene algorithm optimizes exposure and noise reduction, making night shots clear and layered.

For your need to stream Crunchyroll and Netflix in the comfort of your sleep chamber, the refurbished Apple MacBook Air (M1) is a good choice. It has fanless architecture; it doesn't has air intakes that would intake blanket fibers or overheat when placed on soft surfaces, ensuring smooth experience during late night binges. It has a 13.3inch Retina display offers a pixel density that makes animation appear remarkably crisp without the unnecessary battery tax of a 4k panel, while the M1 silicon provides enough endurance to be able to watch an entire season on a single charge. You can typically secure a high quality unit through reputable refurbishers for approximately $450 to $550.

For me, the Acer Aspire Go 15 is around $400–$450 i think. It comes with a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS display, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, and the port selection is solid: USB-C charging, two USB-A ports, HDMI, and a headphone jack. Battery life can handle more than enough for a long anime binge. you can also check some of the budget laptops for 2026 in the link

The laptop comes with 15.6" LCD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. AMD Ryzen™ 5 7430U 6-Core processor with a 2.3GHz base clock for smooth multitasking, work, and entertainment.
Under $450 best for streaming.

I’m going to be straight with you—
There is only one laptop based on what you described, you’d actually be wasting money looking at most other options. And it's also not easily available try flipkart
You don’t need power, you don’t need 4K, and you definitely don’t need those “spec-heavy” laptops people usually recommend. What you need is something that’s reliable, has solid battery life, and a screen you can comfortably watch for hours—and that’s exactly where the Motobook 60 just makes more sense than anything else in this range.
I’ve been using it personally, and this is one of those rare cases where the experience matters way more than the specs. No random slowdowns, no heating issues while streaming, no constant charging stress—just smooth, consistent performance for exactly the kind of usage you mentioned.
Most people overthink this and end up buying something they’ll never fully use. This is one of those decisions where if you pick right the first time, you won’t even think about upgrading for years.
If your goal is simple—watching Crunchyroll/Netflix comfortably without headaches—then honestly, this isn’t just a good option… it’s the sensible one.

For users seeking a budget‑friendly laptop primarily for streaming content such as Netflix and Crunchyroll, comfort, performance reliability, and value for money are key considerations—especially during long, late‑night viewing sessions.
While refurbished ultra‑thin laptops like the Apple MacBook Air (M1) are often praised for their fanless design, excellent battery life, and crisp displays, they are not always the best fit for users who want greater versatility, upgrade potential, and stronger overall performance per peso/dollar.
The Acer Nitro V/5 (ANV15) stands out as a more practical and future‑proof option in this budget range:
For a user whose primary need is comfortable streaming but who also wants extra power, flexibility, and long‑term value, the Acer Nitro V/5 (ANV15) is the stronger recommendation. It provides a more versatile computing experience without sacrificing display quality or reliability—making it a smart, budget‑conscious choice for both entertainment and everyday use.

Hi Liz, happy to help.
I found two laptops that should fit your sons needs. Both are very capable machines and should work well. I gave two because you don't know what games he plays. So once you know that we can narrow in on one selection.

We're definitely going to want to go Ryzen 9 here. and a decent GPU as well. Plus dual monitors, so remember to add two of those to your cart. But you can start out with one for now. I've added a mouse and keyboard as well as a headset and camera in case you need visuals and comms. ignore those if you have them or don't need them. I've also steered away from RGB as this isn't really a traditional gaming set up. But she should still be an eye catcher. ;)

Honestly that looks like a solid build. you shouldn't have any issues with cooling or power. If you're concerned about cooling I'd recommend at some point switching the case fans to Noctua and running some custom fan curves. But overall a solid build.

Here's a good outline for a PC which should have a great performance for the price and will look great. You can swap the 7800x3d for the 9800x3d if you'd like
6/1/2025
I think this is probably the best PC for your budget, for the purpose of playing Triple A games at 240 hz and at 1440p. I didn't include the case since since the 4070 ti super is kinda big and I'm not sure which will fit

all the power without showing off (no RGB lighting)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
Motherboard: ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WIFI W

Storage: Samsung 980 PRO 1TB NVMe SSD
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB

With all of these recommendation, price would come out to about $1,000.

If you prefer a prebuilt system, the MSI Codex R2 Gaming Desktop is available for $799. It features an NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU, Intel Core i5-13400F processor, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB Gen 4 M.2 SSD. This system offers solid 1080p gaming performance and comes with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth connectivity.

This build should be good (as long as you're not building for gaming)
5/16/2025
This will set you up with excellent 4K gaming. You can swap the rear installed fan to the front and replace with the spare one. Three of the same up front and a strong one in the rear.
5/11/2025
You should consider opting for an AMD CPU, since they're some of the best gaming processors currently available, and you have the budget for it
5/19/2025
I would wait for Nvidia 5000 series
