I need a 1TB External Hard drive to store photos that's reliable, durable, and affordable

I would like to upgrade the storage available in a Synology DS416 4-bay NAS. It is already configured to use for business data storage as well as Time Machine backups. I'm looking for around 18TB of storage with 2-drive redundancy. What would the best hard drives be for this use case?
