What type of scale u were using recently and why specifically that one?

I had the Eat Smart Digital Bathroom Scale, Weight Tracking and got it because it was cheap and highly rated I guess, but I'm hoping to not have to buy a scale every few years and hoping for something more durable. Something a little easier on the eyes would be nice too.
Do you prefer a digital display (requires batteries) or a mechanical dial (no batteries, lasts forever)?

Digital is ok as long as it will last a very long time
