I have no experience building a computer. I want to have a machine that can play any game out right now on max (or close to max) graphics.I need 2 monitors and a keyboard. I'm flexible on budget. I want that sweet spot of "used Rav-4 with 19,000 miles". A good investment, but I'm not intetested in paying big money for diminishing returns. So i guess I would say a budget of between $1500-$2000?

Hey! I'm looking for a new gaming laptop. Something with a 5070 or 5080. My old windows 10 with a 3080 finally bit the dust.
Figured I'd give this site a shot. I need a new PC for drafting and CAD work. It needs to most importantly have a lot of hard drive space and have ECC ram. Price is of no concern.
Hi all! So I'm an amateur photographer who's been starting to take some paid jobs and I need a good computer that runs Photoshop and messaging and all that good stuff! I need something to essentially replace my aging MacBook Air. I don't need a monitor as I have good one that I used with my MacBook Air. Just FYI. Thanks!
I’m putting together a build mainly for 1080p gaming at high settings. My budget is around $900–$1000, but I’d love to keep it closer to $900 if possible. Here’s what I’ve been thinking so far:CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600GPU: Radeon RX 6750 XT or RTX 4060 Ti (can’t decide)RAM: 32GB DDR5 (2x16GB, 6000MHz)Storage: 1TB NVMe SSDPSU: 650W GoldCase: Something with good airflow (still open here)I’d love opinions on:Best GPU for price/performance at 1080p.Any bottlenecks I might run into.Suggestions for a solid but affordable case. Thanks!
I’m trying to put together a PC in the $600–$800 range that can handle:1080p gaming at stable FPS (titles like Apex, Valorant, Fortnite)Occasional streaming (Twitch/YouTube)Some light graphic design work (Photoshop, Illustrator)I’d prefer something with an upgrade path (so I can swap in a stronger GPU later). No strong preference between Intel or AMD, just looking for best value in this price range. Could use advice on CPU/GPU pairing, PSU size, and whether I should go SSD-only or SSD+HDD.Thanks in advance!
I’ve had my current PC for a while and I think it’s time for some upgrades. Here are my current specs:CPU: Ryzen 5 2600GPU: GTX 1660RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHzStorage: 500GB SSD + 1TB HDDPSU: 550W Bronze (this part is pretty new, so I’d like to keep it)Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400I mostly play newer AAA games at 1080p and occasionally dabble in light video editing. I’d love to move towards 1440p gaming without replacing everything at once. If I can only upgrade one or two parts right now, where should I start for the biggest performance gains? Should I target GPU first, or is my CPU too much of a bottleneck?
Hi everyone, I’ve been putting together a build with a budget of around $1200. My main use will be 1440p gaming (mostly AAA titles + some esports) and a bit of light video editing. Here’s the parts list I have so far:CPU: Intel i5-13400FCooler: DeepCool AK400GPU: RX 7700 XTMotherboard: B660 or B760 (not sure which yet)RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000MHzStorage: 1TB NVMe Gen4PSU: 650W GoldCase: NZXT H5 FlowMy main questions:Am I overspending in any area?Should I stretch for a different GPU for 1440p, or is the 7700 XT a sweet spot?Would a B760 board make more sense than B660 for this CPU?Any feedback would be appreciated before I pull the trigger. Thanks!
I was planning to buy a RTX 4070 for my build, but the prices right now are way higher than I’d like to spend... My budget for the GPU is around $400–$450.Current planned build:CPU: Ryzen 7 5700XCooler: Thermalright Peerless AssassinMotherboard: B550RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600MHzStorage: 1TB NVMePSU: 750W GoldCase: Fractal Pop AirWhat’s a good GPU alternative in that price range that won’t bottleneck this build? Should I wait for prices to drop, or is there a clear “best value” option right now?? Thanks!!
