Hi everyone. My son just got accepted to Uconn and needs a good laptop. He wants something he can game on and do his work. I don't really know what games he plays. But he works hard and the laptop needs to last a few years. Hopefully under a few grand or so. Any help is appreciated.

I found two laptops that should fit your sons needs. Both are very capable machines and should work well. I gave two because you don't know what games he plays. So once you know that we can narrow in on one selection.

I asked him and he said he mostly plays arc raiders and borderlands. And "stuff like that".

So if the cheaper one can play those then that should be fine.
