I still have some time to decide and haven't made a purchase yet. What do you suggest?
Hi!.
I spent a whole night making your list! I had luck of staying within the budget, because I honestly only picked products that were in the top rating and had great reviews! Of course I setled price limits, specially in the laptop. I'm giving several options in some parts, like the laptop: a 14" option and a 16" one, or the printer, in which I included a simple and cheap but great choice, another model with more features (more like an office oriented choice) and a laser one!, but by choising this last one the budget gets stretched.
1. Printer:
Epson EcoTank ET-2720 ($290): All-in-one. Wireless. Supertank system (which makes the ink last much longer). 5760x1440 dpi resolution, budget friendly. Speed 10ppm / 5ppm
Epson EcoTank ET-3950 ($364 (-13% off)): All-in-one. Wireless + Ethernet. Supertank. Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). 4800x1200 dpi (slightly lower max resolution). Faster speed 18ppm / 9ppm. Automatic duplex printing. Print from the phone. Best selling.
Brother MFC-L3780CDW ($570): All-in-one. Laser technology!!. Wireless + Ethernet. Fastest speed 21ppm. Single Pass Duplex Copy & Scan. Prints from the phone. Reads USB devices.
2. Laptop:
Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 16" ($679): WUXGA IPS Touch screen. AMD Ryzen AI 5 340. 16GB DDR5. 512GB SSD. If you think you need more storage, you can choose 1TB SDD for +$100 ( 2-in-1 means that the screen hinges 360 degrees, so the laptop turns into a tablet, tho, I didn't pick this laptop for that specific feature, I picked it because I really like Lenovo's laptops and the Yoga series is claimed for its great quality and performance).
Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 14" ($666 (-17% off)): WUXGA OLED Touch screen (way better screen technology). AMD 6-core Ryzen AI 5 340.16GB RAM. 512GB SSD. This option actually, as its a promo, does not allow to increase the storage. So, I added a 3rd option.
Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 14" ($749, not promo): Same specs than before, just that in this option you can change the storage to 1TB for +$100.
3. Laptop Stand:
ProtoArc Portable Laptop Stand ($25): Aluminum+Silicone. Best amazong rating.
4. Second monitor:
MSI MAG 275QF 27" ($180): 1440p HDR 180 Hz. Great Quality. Widely used in gaming. (Its the only product I linked outside of Amazon, because it was $20 cheaper, but if you want the Amazon link, here it is)
5. Keyboard + mouse:
Logitech Signature Slim MK955 ($120): Wireless. Logitech is known for being a top tier brand in peripherals. Its a bit pricey, but in exchange you get great quality and performance
seenda COE401 ($46): Wireless. Rechargable!!. Has amazing reviews. Its eco-friendly as it does not use disposable batteries. I thought that it would be an interesting choice!
6. Tablet:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite 10.9" ($280 (-%20 off)): 6GB RAM,.128GB storage. Style Pen included. There are cheaper tablets out there, but I chose this one because Samsung is such a great and trustable brand. Has great reviews and amazing specs. There are other more expensive models with better specs and features but I thought that this one would be more than enough. Also, as the Lenovo Yoga laptop is 2-in-1 and can turn into a tablet, this Samsung tablet is optional. However, I decided to include this tablet because you may wanna have a smaller, lighter and more tablet-like device. This product actually has an option to get a free case, but when you select it, the promo goes off. So, I thought it was better to buy a spared case, as it is cheaper at the end and you can actually pick a case according to your aesthetics preferences.
7. Tablet case:
JETech Clear Case ($12): Trasparent Shockproof and Slim. Pretty solid. Great reviews.
INFILAND Case ($17): Ultra Slim Multi-Angle (serves as tablet support). Amazing reviews. I found this case to have beautiful aesthetics and great features, like automatic sleep mode for the tablet (when you close the case), magnetic closure and a spot for your style pen.
8. USB-C dock:
Minthouz USB C Hub, 6 in 1 Laptop Docking Station ($49): There are MANY USB-C dock options. I checked several. Tried to reduce the options based on what I thought are your needs. Picked this particular dock because its perfect for the MSI 2k 144Hz monitor, has enough ports and also has pretty good reviews.
Alright!! That would be all. I hope you like the list. If there is any doubt please let me know.
Good luck at your new office!!
Oh! I forgot the router!.
I researched and this is my recommendation:
GL.iNet GL-BE6500 (Flint 3e) ($170): WiFi 7 Router. Overall it supports high speeds and has long range. I picked this particular one because both the laptop and the tablet supports WiFi 7. I checked several brands and this one seems to be very realiable and offers lots of nice features. It also has great reviews and an amazing 4.9 rating!
I'm aware that with this part we got outside of the budget. Let me know if you gotta stay within the budget to make some changes!
Tomorrow I will post a NewEegg list alternative!!
Hey, have you already bought the products? I just saw your request and I'll like to help!
