Alternative Parts for Overpriced GPU?

I was planning to buy a RTX 4070 for my build, but the prices right now are way higher than I’d like to spend... My budget for the GPU is around $400–$450.

Current planned build:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
  • Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin
  • Motherboard: B550
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600MHz
  • Storage: 1TB NVMe
  • PSU: 750W Gold
  • Case: Fractal Pop Air

What’s a good GPU alternative in that price range that won’t bottleneck this build? Should I wait for prices to drop, or is there a clear “best value” option right now?? Thanks!!
