Wired Headset!

OK... I'm done, DONE with wireless headsets. I never remember to charge them and they constantly run out during a gaming session. Making me played plugged in anyway. Plus, my dog eats them sometimes and I'm sick of spending the money on wireless. What can I get? Any decent affordable wired headsets out there???? I'm DYIN!

I'm looking more for a wired gaming headset. Something comfortable I can wear for long sessions. So I'd prefer over the ear, not on ear. Any thoughts?

Get 3.5mm for universal use; USB for PC extras like virtual surround. Store in a case or high shelf—wired ones are tougher but not invincible. Amazon Prime for fast shipping, check reviews for "durability" and "comfort." If you want open-back for awareness (hear dog sneaking up), look at Drop + EPOS PC38X (~$80, splurge-worthy).

The Corsair VIRTUOSO PRO is good for wired gaming. They have low-latency wired connections, and they're comfortable enough to be worn for marathon gaming sessions. Their excellent mid-range accuracy brings out all the nuance in in-game dialogue, and their open design helps make gameplay sound as though it's all around you rather than just in front of you. They also come with two swappable cables, one with a microphone and one without, to cater to all your gaming needs.

I would recommend the HyperX Cloud II ,it’s built with a rugged aluminum frame that might actually survive a curious pup better than plastic, and it’s basically the gold standard for comfort under $100. If you manage to save some extra cash for a couple of actual chew toys, the Razer BlackShark V2 X is a killer $40 alternative that performs way above its weight in audio quality, and since both are strictly plug and play, you can finally escape charging progress.
