-Seagate is a well recognized brand in Storage

-Reliable, Durable and the 2TB variant is incredible value for money

-2 TB storage will give you stress-free storage management

If you're mainly looking for a simple, portable way to store your photos, I do recommend the Seagate Expansion Portable 1TB. It's compact, uses USB 3.0 for fast transfers, and works right out of the box with drag-and-drop saving  no extra software needed. It's compatible with Windows, Mac, and ChromeOS. Seagate lists this model at around $69.99 MSRP (often found cheaper, around $40–60 on sale), which fits comfortably within your $100 budget. For important photos, I'd still suggest keeping a second backup rather than relying on a single drive.

The Bipra S3 Portable External Hard Drive provides a hassle-free, high-capacity storage solution in a compact 2.5-inch form factor. Equipped with a fast USB 3.0 interface and pre-formatted in FAT32, it offers universal compatibility across Windows and macOS right out of the box with zero setup required.

Highlights:

• Massive 1TB Storage: Ample space for photo backups, media libraries, and critical work files.
• USB 3.0 High-Speed Transfer: Powered directly via the USB port with no bulky wall adapters.
• Universal Compatibility: Pre-formatted FAT32 file system works seamlessly with PC, Mac, and media players.
• Sleek & Durable: Ultra-portable design built for storage on the go.

Would love to recommend this model from Seagate. I have been using Seagate harddisk for 4 years and it's pretty good. I do have a suggestion, since you just need the disk for storing data I would recommend you buy a HDD instead of an SSD. You will get a 2tb HDD for the price of 1tb SSD. Transfer speed might be a bit slow but I think getting an extra Terabyte of storage would be more useful.

I have linked the 1tb one anyways. Might be cheaper on Amazon cuz it was for me in my region.

Hope this Helps✌🏼
